    Whenever 'The Gypsies' came to town there was excitement and merriment had by all!

The Gypsy Woman, has long held a mysterious lore of wonderment, colorfully dressed, magnetic and warm. It is told she can communicate with ancestors with an inner vision to assist others to relax and relieve known blockages that bind tormented spirits. Reading the future through the movement of bones, crystals, tea leaves or sand, would serve to aid in an interpretation of a spiritual message for better results toward healing. Many aphrodisiacs, were sold as cures to love lorned, saddened mates. Although, chocolate, was a favorite choice for love as it created immediate results! Chocolate in many forms traveled with the Gypsies, in the 1500's by caravans of horse drawn wagons, and on foot, along with their families. The botanical cocoa bean cocoa entered Spain via Mesoamerica originally used by the priest for health. It was prepared by pounding with a sledge hammer to manageable pieces then pulverized. Once a fine powder it was mixed with warming spices boiled over a open camp fire which did attract many curiosity seekers. When the chocolate elixir was cooled and bottled it was sold by the Gypsy for what ever ailed you, especially for love.
