Whenever 'The Gypsies' came to town there was
excitement and merriment had by all!

Although, chocolate, was a favorite choice for love as it created immediate
results! Chocolate in many forms traveled with the Gypsies, in the 1500's by caravans of horse
drawn wagons, and on foot, along with their families.
The botanical cocoa bean
entered Spain via Mesoamerica originally used by the priest for health.
It was prepared by pounding with a sledge hammer to
manageable pieces then pulverized. Once a fine powder it
was mixed with warming spices boiled over a open camp
fire which did attract many curiosity seekers. When the
chocolate elixir was cooled and bottled it was sold by the Gypsy for what ever ailed you,
especially for love.
You can host a Chocolate 'Theme Party!'
